Mary Elizabeth Williamson, M.D.

Dr. Williamson is board certified in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery in addition to being fellowship trained in pediatric otolaryngology. Dr Williamson received her bachelor’s degree in Cellular Biology at the University of Georgia. While at the University of Georgia she received several honors including being inducted in Phi Beta Kappa and graduating magna cum laude with honors. She then received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia where she was nominated for Alpha Omega Alpha.

She completed a surgical internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She then completed her otolaryngology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio where she was also an anatomy instructor. She then returned to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Williamson, a Newnan ENT doctor, specializes in adult and pediatric sleep apnea, pediatric hearing and speech disorders, and pediatric aerodigestive tract disorders. She spent three years in private practice at the Boulder Medical Center seeing both pediatric and adult patients in Boulder, Colorado prior to moving back to Atlanta in 2014 to be closer to her family in Milledgeville. She is excited to be back home and to focus her practice on the pediatric population.
