Dr. Myron Jones, a board certified otolaryngologist, is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia where he was awarded a four- year ROTC scholarship to Norfolk State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was awarded a full Army scholarship to medical school. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of medicine and completed his residency at the United States Army medical center. Dr. Jones completed his internship at William Beaumont Army Hospital, El Paso, TX in 1978 and his residency in Otolaryngology at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio,
He practiced for 14 years as an Active Duty US Army Otolaryngologist. He was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where he was the Chief of the Otolaryngology Service. Also became the Seventh Medical Command Consultant for Otolaryngology in Europe. Promoted from Captain to Major. He was later stationed in San Antonio, TX and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Jones went into civilian private practice 1998, in Colorado Springs, CO, where he practiced for four years before moving to Atlanta.
Dr. Jones, a Stockbridge ENT doctor, is the father of 4 children and enjoys fly fishing, snow skiing, road biking, gardening, traveling, camping, and jazz music.
