Dr. J. Courtney French is a board certified otolaryngologist who joined the ENT Institute in 2007. Dr. French received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southern Adventist University, and went on to obtain a masters of science degree from Georgia State University. He attended medical school with honors in surgery.
Dr. French continued at Loma Linda University Medical Center for a surgical internship and residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery. Dr. French has a special interest in adult and pediatric disorders of sinuses and sleep disturbances. He specializes in the use of endoscopic surgical techniques in the approach to these diseases as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Dr. French has received hands-on training and direct surgical instruction with pioneers in these fields from Stanford University, Vanderbilt University, University of Pittsburg, and the House Ear Institute. Also active in research, Dr. French has given presentations at national meetings, including the Combined Otolaryngologic Spring Meetings in Chicago, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology annual meeting in Toronto, among others.
Dr. French, an Alpharetta ENT doctor, is an active member in the Triologic Society, the American Academy of otolaryngology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. French, a native of Atlanta, is happy to have returned home to Georgia where he resides in Alpharetta.
He is also a nationally recognized leader in Balloon Sinuplasty. In fact, ENT doctors from across the country travel to our office to learn best practices for in-office Balloon Sinuplasty from him.
